EOEPosition Information:
The Surgical Technician Labor and Delivery I -is an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical and patient care. -Functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure that the operating room environment is safe that equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. -Assists with patients in triage. -Assists with the breakdown and instrument care in the Labor and Delivery deck area.Experience Requirements:
3 Years Clinical - Surgical Technician Required In Lieu of DegreeEducation Required:
Graduate Surgical Technology Required - Or Associate's Degree Surgical Technology Required - Or -Military - Surgical Technology RequiredLicensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified Surgical Technologist Required - Within 1 Year of Hire Or Certified Surgical Technologist Required - Within 12 Months of Completion of Surgical Technology ProgramHours of Work:
