Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing manufacturing company in the Cary area who is hiring a Contract Quality Inspector to assist their team. This is a great temporary contract position working on 1st shift Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Inspector will perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Inspector will utilize inspection tools and equipment to assess product quality, following established Quality Assurance procedures.
Inspector will record inspection results and document defects in the Quality Management System (QMS).
Inspector will conduct first-piece inspections on new materials and complex parts before production use.
Inspector will perform in-process inspections and address nonconforming materials in production.
Inspector will operate automated testing equipment for PC board assemblies, magnets, and other components.
Inspector will maintain calibration and preventive maintenance programs, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of progressive experience in quality inspection.
Candidates must have proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office.
Candidates must have knowledge and experience at the ASQC-CMI/CQT level (certification preferred).
Candidates must have strong manual dexterity and the ability to read engineering drawings.
Candidates must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
