Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Youth Behavioral Health in Butner, North Carolina. The selected candidate will provide a full range of services, including standardized assessments, evaluations, and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses, dual diagnosis, substance misuse, and complex behaviors.About the RoleThe Occupational Therapist will be responsible for working as part of a large interdisciplinary team, including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Nursing Services. The ideal candidate will have experience in child and adolescent mental health, with a strong focus on developing and implementing therapeutic interventions that promote positive coping skills and healthy living.Responsibilities

• Provide standardized assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to promote positive outcomes
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in professional growth activities and mentorship to develop and improve patient care delivery and departmental performanceRequirements

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina
