Powered by thousands of scientists and technicians and the latest technology platforms at more than 40 global sites, Catalent supplies billions of doses of life-enhancing and life-saving treatments for patients annually.The Research Triangle Park (RTP) facility is home to Catalent's Inhalation franchise including product development, clinical and commercial manufacturing for pMDI, DPI and Nasal Sprays. -Catalent Pharma Solutions is Morrisville, NC is hiring a Senior Project Manager who is position is responsible for effective management and delivery of assigned complex projects that may cross multiple Catalent sites and/or supporting a high number of concurrent projects with limited oversight and supervision. This role is responsible for ensuring that teams are executing projects in line with the approved project plan and budget and is responsible for identifying risks and presenting issues, recommendations, and updates to senior management.This is a full-time salaried position.   • In collaboration with the core project team, lead the project planning and scoping and subsequently manage and monitor project schedules and deliverables;
  • Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies, resolve project issues, lead the removal of barriers to ensure project progress and escalate to senior management as required;
  • Schedule and lead effective project meetings, delegate, and facilitate action items to drive cross functional accountability and ownership;
  • Accountable for financial elements of a project including contract review, financial milestone management, budget tracking and oversight and will support revenue forecasts, invoice query resolution and aged debt activities;
  • Continue customer relationship beyond product development to deliver life cycle management/product extensions or global expansion requests;
  • Will lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives within the department and site;
  • Mentor lower-level Project Management team members with project management tools and principles; -
  • Effectively interfacing with all applicable functions to ensure project success;
  • All other duties as assignedThe Candidate:
    • Master's degree in science with at least six (6) years of client-facing pharmaceutical project management experience or equivalent required (preferably in the CDMO industry); -
    • Bachelor's degree in science with at least seven (7) years of client-facing pharmaceutical project management experience or equivalent required (preferably in the CDMO industry); -
    • Associate degree in science with at least eight (8) years of client-facing pharmaceutical project management experience or equivalent (preferably in the CDMO industry);
    • High school diploma or equivalent with at least twelves (12) years of client-facing pharmaceutical project management experience or equivalent (preferably in the CDMO industry); -
    • PMP certification desired; -
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint;
    • Must possess demonstrated proficiency and competency in Project Management tools and principles, as well as comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical development and commercialization processes ;
    • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;Why you should join Catalent:
