Job Description:

Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking an AR/Staff Accountant for our client in Cary, NC. The AR/Staff Accountant performs day-to-day accounting functions of the business including but not limited to the following: AR collections, backup to Accounts Payable and various transactional administrative accounting functions following established procedures to accomplish duties. This is a hybrid (2 days onsite) position with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations for multiple subsidiaries, researching discrepancies and submitting timely to management for review.
Perform accounts payable function for U.S. and Canadian companies and maintain all vendor files.
Prepare and record intra-month and month-end journal entries associated with various business functions
Handles all collections activities for the Company, applying judgement to sensitive and complicated contract arrangements.
May assist other departments with ad-hoc projects, including research

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is highly preferred. An equivalent amount of experience and education may be considered.
Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, preferably in healthcare IT or medical device industry.
NetSuite experience REQUIRED
Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Utilize time management and problem-solving skills to efficiently perform job duties.
Maintain confidentiality of private business matters and HIPAA-protected information.
Complete other duties as assigned, to meet ongoing needs of the company.
